Bunge Netherlands is part of the Royal Bunge and has purchased the soy bean processing factory at Coenhavenweg in Amsterdam from Cargill. On 1 March 2017 the factory was transferred from Cargill to Bunge.

Starbucks operates a production location in the Port of Amsterdam. There, the company has run a large coffee roasting facility since 2003. It is the only one outside the United States.
