Dutch Cocoa offers sustainable cocoa processing in its modern plant in the port of Amsterdam. Cocoa beans are converted into high quality cocoa liquor, cocoa butter and cocoa powder. These products serve as raw material for chocolate factories around the world. The current production facility was built in 2005 and has a capacity of grinding some 70,000 metric tons of cocoa beans. Prior to grinding, the beans are shipped to the facility, carefully selected, blended, cleaned, roasted and (often) alkalized for specific flavors and colors.
Dutch Cocoa is part of ECOM Agroindustrial, allowing access to a network of more than 15 cocoa companies in origin and in consumption countries.
