Dienst Onderwijs, Jeugd en Zorg

Dienst Onderwijs, Jeugd en Zorg (Department of Education, Youth and Welfare Services) is one of the executive branches of the City of Amsterdam. The organization’s tasks include the enforcement of compulsory education, housing and quality of public schools, tackling youth unemployment, juvenile services, the Social Support Act (Wmo) and anti-discrimination actions. Many of these tasks are based on ambitions by the city council. Dienst Onderwijs, Jeugd en Zorg has many internal and external collaboration partners.
