Tauw

Tauw is a European consultancy and engineering firm, with many specializations among which is hydraulic engineering. The company partners with its clients on topics like urban environment, infrastructure, sustainability and location development. Measurements and inspections are usually part of the procedures. The team embraces new technology and instruments such as drones, augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR). Its clients include governments, water boards, manufacturing and businesses.

Tauw was founded in 1928 as Technisch Adviesbureau van de Unie van Waterschapsbonden (Technical Consultancy Bureau of the Union of Water Board Associations). From five employees, the company has grown to around 850 employees and eight locations in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Spain and Italy.
