Port-Liner develops inland vessels powered by electric motors. For this, ships are equipped with an innovative container battery. The battery can also be retrofitted into existing vessels. The technology allows considerable space savings compared to conventional diesel-powered vessels. This increases the cargo hold by about 8 percent. In addition, the electric solution reduces noise pollution. It also prevents the emission of harmful particulates and gases such as carbon dioxide and nitrogen oxide.
Port-Liner uses green power to charge the batteries. The company manufactures both the battery and the vessels that use this technology.
