Noord-Europees Wijnopslag Bedrijf B.V. (NWB)

Noord-Europees Wijnopslag Bedrijf B.V. provides storage and processing facilities for liquid bulk. Although the company’s name suggests otherwise, its activities are no longer limited to wines and spirits. The company has extensive experience with the storage and processing of industrial and fuel grades of ethanol, as well as fatty acid methyl esters (FAME). The latter are either applied as biodiesel or added to regular diesel.

The facility includes 99 storage tanks with a combined capacity of approximately 60,000 cubic meters. There is also a draft jetty for seagoing and inland vessels, a loading platform for freight trains and a number of platforms for tank trucks. For reasons of efficiency, these platforms can be used simultaneously.
