GVB Activa B.V.

GVB Activa B.V. is acting owner of the system of subway, tram, bus and ferry services of GVB, a public transit company in Amsterdam. As a business unit of GVB, GVB Activa B.V. is responsible for the strategic assets.

GVB operates eight ferry services, five of which cross the IJ and three cross the North Sea Canal. Until 2007, GVB was part of the City of Amsterdam. From that year onwards, it has become a limited liability company (Ltd.).
