Eneco Wind B.V.

Eneco Wind B.V. is part of utility company Eneco and focuses on the production of electricity by wind energy. In the Afrikahaven, Eneco Wind operates a wind farm for generating green electricity. This park is co-owned by the Port of Amsterdam. The objective of this particular wind farm is to deliver sustainable electricity directly to local businesses and households. Normally, windmills deliver their electricity to the general power grid.

In addition to the wind farm, Eneco and Port of Amsterdam have provided a bicycle path with smart lighting and a knowledge center for students.
