De Kweker

De Kweker is a food wholesaler and operates an Amsterdam distribution center. The family business offers food products that are both well and responsibly produced. This explains the availability of products from local and start-up producers, farmers and growers in the store. There’s also a wide variety of organic products on sale, about 1500. In 1995 De Kweker was one of the first wholesalers to introduce bio-products.

De Kweker is a subsidiary of Vroegop Ruhe & Co B.V., which dates back to 1949. This company has always been an early adopter of trends such as canned vegetables and (later) veggies in glass jars. Many of these were sold as white-label product.
