The company also provides car rentals and a self storage service. Throughout the Netherlands, the company operates dozens of wholesale stores for construction professionals and industry.

Bo-rent is part of Bo-Mij Groep. This company was established in 1974 as a hardware store in the city center of Amsterdam. The group has now grown into a national cluster of shops and companies. They include various wholesale and retail store formulas, a number of sauna locations, a real estate agency and a marina.
