Bio Energy Netherlands is a supplier of green heat and green electricity. The company does this by gasifying residual products from biomass. The company also produces biogas, hydrogen and carbon dioxide from biomass. These three elements are used as raw materials in the chemical industry.

With modern gasification technology, the initiators of Bio Energy Netherlands aim to stimulate the energy transition and the transition to a circular economy in the Netherlands. In this process, raw materials and products are reused instead of discarded after their first use. Compared to traditional incineration, gasification avoids much more harmful substances emissions. The first residual wood gasification installation of Bio Energy Netherlands is operational from the end of 2018.
