Argent Energy

Argent Energy is a European biofuels producer with a vision to reduce the world’s carbon footprint. The company produces sustainable second-generation biodiesel, operating plants in the Port of Amsterdam and in the UK. With over 300 employees across all sites, Argent produces 195,000 tons of waste-based biodiesel annually, with plans to soon triple production capacity at its site in Amsterdam.

Argent’s biodiesel is derived exclusively from certified waste materials, including waste fats, waste oils, and other end-of-life materials that can no longer be used for any other purpose. The waste-based biodiesel is then sold internationally, delivering significant environmental benefits. By reducing CO₂ emissions, Argent’s biodiesel plays an important role in the decarbonisation of transport and other industries.
