Amels

It was in 1918 that Kees Amels established a family boat building business in the north of the Netherlands. So in 2018, Amels celebrated its centennial milestone. From its origins as a Dutch boat builder, Amels has grown into one of the largest luxury yacht building yard in the Netherlands, recognized as a symbol of pedigree and the absolute highest quality and finish. It’s a heritage that the company is proud to continue.

Since 1991 Amels has been part of Damen Shipyards. Founded by two brothers in 1927, family-owned Damen is a multinational company based in the Netherlands.

Amels prides itself on having the best superyacht facilities in Holland. With climate-controlled halls, and 204-metre and 145-metre covered dry docks, the facilities offer direct access to the North Sea for even the largest of private yachts.
