ChainCraft, founded in 2010, focuses on fermentation and separation technology for the production of biobased chemicals based on renewable (second generation) raw materials.
Fermentation - a biological process whereby substance of organic origin is converted into end product - is one of the few keys for the chemical sector to transform from fossil-based production to a biobased and therefore circular industry.
In addition to the production of fatty acids, ChainCraft focuses on two other fermentation technologies for the production of biobased chemicals.
