Z5 waarde en toelichting
Vanwege de droogte en afnemende toevoer van zoet water, loopt de Z5 waarde op. Die is op dit moment 3200 mg/l. Debiet Weesp Q5 is op dit moment 24-26 m3/s. Waterinlaatsysteem (WIS) is op dit moment 30. Debiet Lobith (QLobith) is ca 1325 m3/s.

Verwachting
Komende dinsdag 20 juni wordt er enige neerslag voorspeld, maar dit zal naar verwachting weinig effect hebben op de Z5-waarde. De verwachting is dat de Z5-waarde verder zal oplopen. 

Maatregelen
Op basis van deze verwachting en de feedback die wij vanuit de havengemeenschap hebben ontvangen over het tijdig anticiperen, hebben we besloten om per direct geoptimaliseerd te gaan schutten. We zullen daarbij meer vertraging accepteren (ca. 2 uur), om zo efficiënt mogelijk te kunnen schutten en hierdoor de indringing van zout in het Noordzeekanaal te verminderen. We zitten dus nog niet in de alertheidsfase, omdat de Z5 waarde nog onder de 3500 mg/l zit.

Het CNB en RWS-WNN hebben op donderdag 22 juni weer een zoutindringingsoverleg om de situatie goed te monitoren. De komende periode sturen wij wekelijks dit verziltingsbeeld. De eerstvolgende ontvang je op vrijdag 23 juni. De ORAM-calls worden opgestart wanneer we naar de alertheidsfase gaan en geanticipeerd moeten gaan schutten.

Z5 value and clarification
Because of drought and the decreasing supply of fresh water, the Z5 value is rising and is currently at 3200mg/l. Discharge Weesp Q6 is currently 24-26 m3/s. The water inlet system (WIS) is currently at 30. Discharge Lobith (QLobith) is approximately 1325 m3/s. 

Expectations
On Tuesday 20 June, rainfall is expected, but this will likely have little effect on the Z5 value. The prognosis as of this moment is that the Z5 value will rise further.  

Measures 
Based on the expectations and the feedback we have gotten from within the port community about timely anticipation, we have decided to optimize lock passages, effective immediately. We will accept certain delay, approximately two hours, to make the passages as efficient as possible and minimize the intrusion of salt in the North Sea Canal. At this moment in time, we are not yet in the Alertness phase, as the Z5 value has not reached 3500 mg/l yet. 

The CNB and the RWS-WNN will have a meeting on Thursday 22 June regarding the salt intrusion and how to best monitor the situation. We will be sending the view on salanisation every week, with the next update coming on Friday 23 June. When anticipatory lock scheduling starts, ORAM will begin their calls. As of right now, that is not the case.
