Z5 waarde en toelichting

De Z5 waarde is ten opzichte van vrijdag weer iets gedaald en is nu 3316 mg/l.  

Het debiet Weesp (Q5) is gestegen en is nu 52m3/s. Het debiet Lobith (Q-Lobith) is ook gestegen, naar 1572 m3/s. De afgelopen weken werd er extra water ingelaten bij Muiden en Schellingwoude en dat gebeurt nog steeds.  

Maatregelen
Ondanks dat de Z5 waarde onder de 3500 mg/l zit is er besloten om door te gaan met geoptimaliseerd schutten. Er is op dit moment namelijk nog steeds een neerslagtekort.

Verwachting
Komende dagen wordt wederom (veel) neerslag voorspeld. Momenteel is de aanvoer erg hoog. Vanwege springtij (de periode van het getij waarin het verschil tussen hoog- en laagwater het grootst is) zijn er echter geen spuimogelijkheden de komende dagen. Daarbij komt dat het nog veel gaat regenen. Extra maatregelen in het schutregime zijn daarom nu niet nodig. Mocht de komende dagen blijken dat de aanvoer terugvalt, dan kan de aanvoer weer worden verhoogd. 
 
Donderdag bekijken we de situatie opnieuw. Het reguliere verziltingsbeeld versturen we wekelijks op vrijdag. Indien er in de tussentijd veranderingen of updates zijn, dan ontvang je een extra verziltingsbeeld.

This is the salinisation overview for 1 August. An extra edition. The predictions and Z5 value look good, but we will not alter the optimized lock passages and would like to explain why. 

Z5 value and clarification

The Z5 value has decreased slightly compared to last Friday and is now 3316 mg/l.   

The discharge Weesp (Q5) has rised to 52 m3/s. The discharge Lobith (Q-Lobith) has also risen to 1572 m3/s. As in the last few weeks, extra water is still being released at Muiden and Schellingwoude. 

Measures
Although the Z5 value has dropped below 3500mg/l, the decision has been made to move forward as is, meaning the current optimized lock passages are still in place. Despite the rainfall of the past period, there is still a precipitation deficit.  

Expectation

A lot of rainfall has been predicted for the coming days, and the spring tide is currently very high. Because of spring tide (the period within the tide where the difference between high and low tide is the most significant), there are no possibilities for sluicing in the coming days. Moreover, a lot of rain is expected, which means nog extra measures are needed. If the supply does regress in the coming days, the supply can be increased.  

The situation will be reviewed again on Thursday. The regular salinisation overview is sent out on Friday. If there are any changes or updates in the meantime, you will receive an extra salinisation overview before then.
