Z5 waarde en toelichting 
De Z5 waarde is de afgelopen dagen afgenomen en is nu 3544 mg/l. Dit komt mede doordat er afgelopen week meer afvoer van zout water is geweest en meer aanvoer van zoet water. 

Het debiet Weesp (Q5) is gedaald naar 35 m3/s. Het debiet Lobith (Q-Lobith) is ook iets gedaald, naar 1066 m3/s.  

Maatregelen onveranderd 
Aangezien de Z5 waarde iets boven de 3500 mg/l ligt zitten we in de alertheidsfase. Maar omdat er (landelijk gezien) geen sprake is van een watertekort, gaan we niet over tot aanvullende maatregelen. Omdat de verwachting is dat de Z5 waarde weer zal stijgen, blijft het huidige schutregime, waarbij we geoptimaliseerd schutten, van kracht.  

Verwachtingen 
De verwachting voor de komende dagen is dat de Z5 waarde weer zal stijgen en boven 3500 mg/l uitkomt. Het debiet bij Lobith zal vanwege voorspelde neerslag tijdelijk stijgen, maar daarna is de verwachting dat het weer zal dalen.  

Begin volgende week bekijken we de situatie opnieuw. Dit verziltingsbeeld versturen we wekelijks op vrijdag. Indien in de tussentijd veranderingen of updates zijn, dan ontvang je het verziltingsbeeld eerder.

Z5 value and clarification 

The Z5 value has decreased to 3544 mg/l in the past couple days. This is partly due to the disposal of salt water and the increased fresh water of the past week.  

The discharge Weesp (Q5) has decreased to 35 m3/s. The discharge Lobith (Q-Lobith) has also slightly decreased to 1066 m3/s.  

Measures unchanged 

As the Z5 value is slightly above the 3500 mg/l threshold, we are (once again) in the Alertness phase. But, as there is no (national) water shortage, further measures will not be taken. Because the expectation is that the Z5 value will rise again, the current lock regime, where we have optimized lock passages, will stay in force.  

Expectations 

The Z5 value is expected to rise above 3500 mg/l again in the next couple of days. The discharge at Lobith is expected to rise temporarily because of the rainfall, but also expected to decrease afterwards.
